Mudhens (The HO Modular Narrow Gauge Society) is a group modeling a wide variety of railroads in HOn3. They started in the St. Louis area in 1984 and have grown to include 21 members throughout Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Nebraska, Colorado and Arizona. Featured are modules with scenes of Placerville, Pagosa Junction (Gato), Phantom Canyon, Birkshire Valley, Telluride, Blairs Mills, Port Royal, Sneffels, and Tin cup just to name a few. The layout is now 100% privately owned and can be set up in a variety of ways. Operations can be formal with a switch list or informal, just running around.
