The layout depicts the movement of refined concentrate out of Pandora, through Telluride and down to Vance Junction. At Vance Junction the locomotives are turned on the wye at Illium for either a return trip to Pandora or for the further movement of concentrates south to Rico and on to Durango, transiting Ophir and Lizard Head. The time period is the Fall of 1942. The layout fills a 50’ x 26’ room and the scenery is 100% complete. Trestles are in abundance, in fact, every trestle between Ophir and Lizard Head has been modeled in its entirety. A majority of the structures are scratch-built. Track and turnouts are primarily Tomalco and power is CVP Easy DCC.
